Fun At The Little Gym

On Tuesday Reagan and I went to the Little Gym for a free trial class. We had so much fun and Reagan loved being able to run around and climb on stuff!

So cute! What a big girl! Climbing the stairs to the balance beam. I'd say the climbing part was one of her favorites!

The ball time was another. She got her sights set on this pink ball and would not let go of it. Even when she dropped it, she would go past tons of other balls to get her pink ball.

This morning Reagan decided she wanted to help make your birthday cake! What a cute little baker!

How true it is!

There's no stopping her now! Now Reagan can get up without pulling up and now she walks everywhere. I can't even remember her crawling at all in the last few days. She grows more and more each day and she does something new almost every day. If you ask her for a kiss, she leans in open-mouthed, sometimes tongue out, and kisses you right on the lips. It is by far my new favorite thing. I'll try to get video of it in the next few days.

This was Monday night right before bed time. We put Reagan in "big girl jammies", meaning a two piece set. They look more like toddler pj's than the baby footed jammies that she has slept in up til now. I also love how big her belly looks in this video. So cute and round!

This past weekend David and I went down to New Braunfels to float on the Guadalupe River. It was my first time to have an over night away from Reagan EVER! David has had a few nights away from her before, but I had never had one since she was born. We had a lot of fun and even though we missed her, we knew she was in good hands at her Tia's house. Here's some updated footage of our little walker. She's getting really good. In the second video she is almost running at one point. She's almost not a baby anymore :(.

Why We Love The Pool

Today we went to our friend Hope's neighborhood pool to swim with our little ones. Reagan's new buddy is Luke. He's 2 months old and really cute! What can I say? My little girl is a baby cougar! LOL! It was really nice because they have a kiddie pool that's only 2 feet deep next to the big pool and the kiddie pool is covered. It works well because it's not as hot because you're not in the sun and the water isn't very deep. So Reagan could sit on the step or stand in the water without needing a floaty. I left my camera in the car, so I didn't get pictures of the kids in their super cute bathing suits, but I get before and after pictures of the two of them in the car. So funny!!

And on the way home. Why do we love the pool? Um, because it's fun, cools you off, and makes the kids take awesome naps afterward. I'm not sure what it is about being in the water that tuckers them out, and I don't really need to know. All I care about is that she is sleeping good and that is a beautiful thing!

It's A Long HOT Summer

Well, it's officially HOT! Today it's gonna get to 104 and stay that way for a few days. It really stinks because it has become pretty boring days when it's this hot and you have a baby. I hate whine, but I'm gonna for a minute. It's too hot to do anything outside, and that includes swimming. It's really too hot to go anywhere because by the time you get in the car and drive somewhere, for example Target, by the time I get there Reagan has sweat off anther pound in her car seat and that's with the A/C on blast. Plus, I don't really have any disposable income to go shopping in the first place. I'd love to go to the Little Gym, or somewhere like it, with Reagan, but there again it cost more money than I have to spend. I just wish it would cool down a little that way we could go to the park and to the pool during the day. Ok, I'm done now. Other than the hot weather, things are really good. Reagan is walking all over the place. It truly has become her preferred mode of transportation. Today, she walked from the kitchen to the back door with help at all. She seems to always start out walking where ever she goes and only crawls if she has fallen down and has nothing around to help her get back up. Once she gets good at standing up without having to pull up, she's gonna walk everywhere and quit that crawling thing. My girl is growing up and she's not afraid to show it!!
