Memorial Day At The Pool

Reagan and I right before we went to Grandad and Yaya's house for a pool party. She loved her "Born in the USA" t-shirt!

WOW! Look at that pot belly! In her first bikini and getting ready to go swimming for the first time. The water was a little cold, so we had to ease her in...and there was no way I was getting in! David had to do it because I don't like cold water. Hanging by the pool with Daddy.

A BIG Bow For A BIG Girl

As most of you know, we love a bow on our little girl. Well, recently we decided that we need to move Reagan up to the big girl bows, because her's were all looking too small on her big girl head. If you weren't aware, bows, and especially big ones, are very expensive. So I have taken up bow making to cut the cost. This is not one of my better bows, but it is by far the biggest! I kinda think she looks like Minnie Mouse!!

I Think We Need To Get A Walker

Here's Reagan's latest trick. She's been doing it for a while now, but every time I break out the camera, she sits down and crawls to me. She is such a big girl!

B-A-N-A-N-A-S, It's Bananas!

Reagan LOVES her some bananas! We give her whole bananas in this mesh thingie that she she can chew on and squeeze it out. Best thing ever! She will sit there and mush her bananas for 30 minutes, if we let her! It's very messy, so we only give it to her on bath night, but I just think it's so cute! Hope you all do too!

I Got Brave Today

I guess I kinda got the spring cleaning bug, because today I did something I've never done before. Now, we have dogs and every so often we have to vacuum the couches to get rid of all the hair that has accumulated. Today, while vacuuming the couches, I noticed that all the cushion covers zippered on. I might just be ignorant and all couches might be this way, but I'd never really noticed before (we've had this couch, chair, and ottoman set for 4 years now...can you tell I'm real observant?!) So I unzipped everything and tossed it into the washing machine. Now I'm just hoping and praying that everything goes back on like it's supposed to! This was a hand-me-down set, but it's really nice (Pottery Barn) and I don't want to ruin it. It's washing now, so we'll see!

I know this is kinda a stretch as far as interesting posts go, but this is real life. My life. I hope I don't bore to many of you!

Cinco de Mayo in San Antonio

This past weekend we went to San Antonio for an annual soccer tournament that David plays in with a lot of his friends from his college soccer team. Every year it's so much fun. All the guys bring their families and it's more like a reunion party on the sidelines. Everyone is competitive and wants to win, but is mostly interested in having a great time. A lot of the guys prefer a cooler of beer to a cooler of water!

Reagan did really well. She played with the other babies and cheered her daddy on to victory! The team won their division for the second year in a row and because it's sponsored by Jose Cuervo, all they guys took a shot of tequila after winning the final.
